Solaris Motorsport Team prepares the debut in SUPERSTARS SERIES

The staff of the team is focusing on two very important aspects, the technical side and the graphics and advertising aspects.
From the technical point of view the goal is to optimize the package of gearbox/differential and the preparation of the powerful American V8; for graphics and advertising Solaris gave great importance to the new color of the cars, made particularly attractive by the use of gold Chevrolet approached to the asphalt grey.

For this new adventure the team has also decided to be enriched by a member of proven experience that can help them in achieving the objectives.
We’re talking about Matteo Lacerenza with a past in F1, DTM, WTCC, Auto GP, Superleague: Matteo will be one of the chief mechanic and will also be responsible for logistics and optimization of all team activities.

Cristian Grasso (team manager): “We are working hard to be in the best possible conditions at Monza on the first race of 1 April.
Our plan is to be on track in some private test sessions in early 2012 in order to test all the new parts we are applying on the Lumina, and subsequently participate in the collective test in mid-March, in which we shall present the cars in the final version. “

The first test of new cars are expected in the first week of Febraury, during which time the team will work to define the remaining two seats of Lumina (already known that 1 car will driven by  Francesco Sini) and are already tight on negotiations with drivers, both rookies and some important  international names.
